Estafiate: tea sounds poem (2024)
This video was created for the closing show of Pamela Martinez/Telextile at the Mercury Project Gallery. It features footage from her immersive music theater work, Estafiate, performed by Pamela Martinez/Teletextile alongside additional musicians and performers.
Estafiate is an experimental sound performance that channels the healing energies of San Antonio's native plants, the vastness of the Texas sky, and the iconic San Antonio River. Through layered sonic textures and atmospheric compositions, the piece invites audiences into an otherworldly space where sound and environment intertwine.
The music was composed by Pamela Martinez, Miles Jefferson Friday, and Charlie Welty. Performance filmed by Chris Castillo and video edited by me, in collaboration with Pamela Martinez. Wesley S. Uchiyama-Penix did the audio tracking and Rebecca Huston did the audio-mix and master.

Hurford Center for the Arts and Humanities Events Recap (2022-2023)
I created this video compilation of my other videos of various events that were connected to the Hurford Center of the Arts and Humanities and took place in the VCAM at Haverford College. This video was shown at the Spring 2023 Arts and Culture Student/Alumni Meet in Philly.
Recitation was a 13 hour durational performance that took place at Haverford College by performance artist and professor Raegan Truax in 2021. From Raegan Truax's website: "Now, set amidst a global pandemic, Recitation is layered with images, objects, audio recordings and materials siphoned from years of letters, conversations, and creative exchanges. Occurring over 13-hours, the durational performance invites a suspended moment (of discord) as Truax attunes to recitations on how to grieve."
The recordings were contributed by Vicky Funari and Charles Woodard. I, along with some guidance from Raegan Truax, edited together some parts of the various footage to create this video. Sound was done by Derek Phillips.

Red Flower Collective Residency @ VCAM (2022)
The Hurford Center of Arts and Humanities at Haverford College hosted the Red Flower Collective in the VCAM building’s kitchen in the fall semester. The Red Flower Collective is an initiative and group of people whose goal is to collaborate with other artists and cooks and share foods reflecting their unique diasporic identities and cultures. As part of their one day residency at Haverford, the group cooked from 11AM to 6PM, later serving almost 100 people with a multiple course meal. As part of my role as Hurford Center videographer, I filmed them throughout the day and created this video.
Triple Exhibit Opening @ VCAM (12/22)
Cantor Fiztgerald Gallery Opening @ Haverford College (10/22)
The Hurford Center for Arts and Humanities at Haverford College hosted a Block Party with various activities available for students to indulge in at the VCAM (Visual Culture Arts Media) building. Prior to the event, I filmed and edited a few short videos of the artists who have their own role within the event as promo content for the Hurford Center Instagram. During the event, I documented the different stations at the party and student engagement, later editing together a recap video.

Destination: Rocky Steps (2021)
This piece was created to be a case study supplementing a written analysis for my Anthropology of Tourism course (in fall 2021). My collaborator Victoria Nelson and I took what we learned throughout the year about tourism and applied it to our analysis post-going out into the field. The case study was set at the Rocky Steps and around in Philly to observe and uncover some of the motives behind touring the Rocky Steps and performing gestures emulating Rocky Balboa.
Wild Woodstock: The Festival that Broke Barriers (2020)
This documentary was created in my senior year of high school with two of my classmates, Miles Palminteri and Ava Spiner,. It was submitted to and selected to be a part of the annual New York History Day competition.
